Schnitz Menu Prices 2026 — Full Menu with Calories (Australia)

Every Schnitz category, with the official kilojoule figures and both the in-store and the delivery price side by side, so you can see exactly what ordering through an app costs you.

Reviewed September 2026. Prices are approximate and vary by store, date and ordering channel. Where a figure has not been published we leave the cell blank and mark it n/p rather than guess. Energy figures are published by Schnitz; Calorie values are converted at 4.184 kJ per Cal.

Schnitz is an Australian schnitzel chain built around one idea done many ways: a crumbed chicken schnitzel, in a wrap, on a bun, on a plate under Napoli sauce and cheese, or torn into tenders. This page lists the full menu with prices in Australian dollars and the energy figures Schnitz publishes for each item.

It also does something the official site and the other menu guides skip: it shows the in-store price and the delivery price in the same row. Those are not the same number, and the gap is larger than most people expect. Use the jump buttons to go straight to a category, or read the pricing note first if you usually order through an app.

In-store vs delivery: why the same schnitzel has two prices

Schnitz, like most Australian chains, runs a separate price list for delivery platforms to absorb the commission those platforms charge. The food is identical. The number is not.

Indicative comparison, approximate. In-store prices from current Australian price tracking; delivery prices from delivery menu listings.
ItemIn storeOn deliveryDifference
Basic Instinct$10.90$14.70+$3.80 (35%)
Schnitzel & Chips$13.50$18.00+$4.50 (33%)
Parma & Chips$15.50$20.00+$4.50 (29%)
Loaded Schnitzel & Chips$17.90$23.00+$5.10 (28%)
Regular Original Chips$5.70$7.80+$2.10 (37%)

That uplift lands before the delivery fee, service fee and any small-order fee. On a family order it routinely adds ten dollars or more. Schnitz now delivers exclusively through Uber Eats, so ordering pickup direct through the Schnitz app or website is the only way to pay the in-store price.

Schnitz wraps and burgers — prices 2026

Twelve builds, all on the same traditional crumb chicken schnitzel unless you swap the protein. Every one can be ordered as a burger on a Turkish roll or as a wrap, and the wrap is consistently around 170 kJ lighter because the roll carries more than the tortilla. Energy shown is the burger, with the wrap figure underneath.

Schnitz plates — schnitzel, Parma and loaded prices

The plates range is where the menu gets genuinely confusing, because almost every item exists in three versions: on its own, with chips, and with chips plus a side salad. They are priced differently and their energy figures are very different. Schnitz publishes kilojoules for all three variants, so all three are listed here.

About Schnitz

Schnitz is an Australian quick-service chain that does one thing on purpose: schnitzel. Rather than running a broad menu, it takes a crumbed chicken breast and builds outwards — into wraps and burgers, onto plates under Napoli sauce and three cheeses, over chips with gravy, and more recently into buttermilk-breadered tenders.

Stores are concentrated in Victoria and New South Wales, with locations in Queensland, the ACT, South Australia and Western Australia, and coverage is strongest in metropolitan shopping centres. The chain runs a membership programme called Crumb Collective through its own app, and delivery is now exclusively on Uber Eats.

What makes Schnitz unusually easy to write about accurately is that it publishes real data: kilojoule figures for every menu item, and a detailed allergen document that separates the protein from the crumb from the roll from the fillings. Most chains publish far less. What it does not publish is prices — which is the gap this site exists to fill.

Schnitz menu FAQ

What is on the Schnitz menu in Australia in 2026?

The Schnitz menu is built around one thing: a crumbed chicken schnitzel, served several ways. The core ranges are Wraps & Burgers (twelve builds, from the plain Basic Instinct to the loaded OMG!), Plates (schnitzel, Parma, Ham Parma, Hawaiian Parma and Loaded Schnitzel, with or without chips and a side salad), Tom's Signature Tenders (buttermilk-breadered tenderloins in 3, 5 and 10 packs plus Tender Boxes), Schnacks (mini versions of the popular wraps, Schnuggets, the Nosh Box and the Schnitz Stick), Fresh Salads, chips, dips, kids packs, drinks, and a dessert range of loaded cookies, brownies, skillets and ice cream.

You can also change the protein on most items — chicken, beef or a veggie patty — and change the crumb. Both of those swaps change the allergen picture, not just the taste.

How much does Schnitz cost in Australia?

Expect roughly $10.90 to $16.90 for a wrap or burger in store, $13.50 to $17.90 for a plate, and $4.50 to $9.90 for chips depending on size. Salads with schnitzel sit around $15.50, kids packs around $9.50–$10.50, and dips are about $1.10 each.

The number that surprises people is the delivery gap. The same Basic Instinct that is about $10.90 in store is listed near $14.70 on delivery menus, and a Loaded Schnitzel & Chips moves from roughly $17.90 to about $23.00. That is a 25–35% uplift before the delivery and service fees are added. All figures are approximate and vary by store.

Does Schnitz have a gluten free menu?

Not a gluten free menu, but there are gluten friendly choices. Schnitz lists a Gluten Free wrap with no allergens declared against it, and a Corn Crunch breader described as gluten friendly — though Corn Crunch still declares wheat, along with egg, milk, soy, peanut, tree nut, sesame and fish, in the February 2026 allergen document.

Schnitz states plainly that it cannot guarantee completely allergen free meals because of trace allergens in the working environment. If you have coeliac disease rather than a preference, speak to the store directly before ordering.

What allergens are in a Schnitz schnitzel?

It depends on how the schnitzel is built, and that is the part most guides get wrong. The chicken and beef proteins on their own carry no declared allergens. The allergens come from the crumb: the Traditional crumb, Spicy crumb and Corn Crunch each declare wheat, egg, milk, soy, peanut, tree nut, sesame and fish.

The roll or wrap then adds wheat, egg, milk and soy, and the fillings and sauces add more on top. A finished Parma plate declares eleven allergen categories. Our Schnitz allergen guide sets out the full published matrix layer by layer.

What is the healthiest item at Schnitz?

By published energy, the lightest things on the menu are the side salads: the Garden Salad side at 345 kJ (82 Cal) and the Mediterranean Salad side at 371 kJ (89 Cal). Among proper meals, a plain schnitzel on its own is 1,400 kJ (335 Cal) and a 3 Pack of Signature Tenders is 2,520 kJ (602 Cal).

The lightest full handheld is Basic Instinct as a wrap, 2,620 kJ (626 Cal). Choosing the wrap over the burger saves roughly 170 kJ every time, because the roll carries more than the tortilla. Swapping chips for a side salad is the single biggest saving available on a plate.

How many calories are in a Schnitz classic schnitzel?

A traditional crumb chicken schnitzel on its own is 1,400 kJ, about 335 Cal. Add small original chips and Schnitzel & Chips comes to 3,260 kJ, about 779 Cal. Add a side salad as well and it is 3,610 kJ, about 863 Cal.

Turning it into a Parma pushes it to 3,710 kJ (about 887 Cal) with chips, and Loaded Schnitzel & Chips reaches 3,990 kJ, roughly 953 Cal. The kilojoule figures are published by Schnitz; the Calorie values are converted at 4.184 kJ per Cal.

Does Schnitz have a kids menu?

Yes — the kids range is called Little Rascals. The Teeny-Weeny Pack is a mini wrap or slider with crumbed chicken, tasty cheese and tomato sauce, plus mini chips and a Pop Top, at 2,960 kJ and roughly $10.50 in store. The Kiddy Schnugget Pack swaps in four Schnuggets and comes to 2,540 kJ. There is also an Itty-Bitty Pack at around $9.50.

Worth knowing: both published kids packs declare the full set of eleven allergen categories, so they are not a safe default for a child with allergies. Check the build with the store.

What are Schnitz opening hours in Australia?

Hours are set per store, not nationally, and shopping centre stores follow centre trading hours rather than their own. As a general pattern, high street stores commonly run from late morning until around 9pm, while centre stores open and close with the centre.

Because a public holiday, a centre late-night or a new store can change that within a week, we do not publish a single hours table — it would be wrong somewhere the day it was written. Use the store finder on the official Schnitz site, or the store's listing on Uber Eats, which shows live open and closed status.

Can I order Schnitz on Uber Eats, DoorDash or Menulog?

Uber Eats only. Schnitz states that delivery is now exclusively on Uber Eats, ordered either through the Uber Eats app or through the Schnitz app. It is no longer on DoorDash or Menulog, so listings you find on those platforms are out of date.

Remember the pricing point above: delivery menu prices run roughly 25–35% above in-store prices before the delivery and service fees are added. Ordering pickup direct through Schnitz is consistently the cheaper way to buy the same food.

Is Schnitz halal certified in Australia?

Schnitz does not publish a national halal certification for the brand. What exists is store level: several Victorian stores, including Craigieburn Central, Truganina, Point Cook and Dandenong, are listed by halal restaurant directories as serving halal chicken.

A directory listing is not a certificate from Schnitz. If halal matters to you, ask the specific store which supplier and certification their chicken carries, rather than relying on a directory or on this page.

Does Schnitz have vegan options?

Vegetarian, yes. Fully vegan, effectively no. Schnitz offers a veggie patty as a protein swap on most items, and salads can be ordered without schnitzel. But the veggie patty itself declares milk and egg among its allergens, and the crumbs declare egg and milk too.

Most of the sauces — aioli, the mayonnaises, Signature Sauce, ranch, Napoli — declare egg, milk or both. A vegan diner is realistically looking at a salad with no schnitzel, no dressing and no cheese, and should confirm the build with the store.

What is the cheapest item on the Schnitz menu?

The Schnitz Stick at around $3.50 in store is the cheapest thing you can buy, followed by the Nosh Box at about $5.00 and small original chips at about $4.50. Dips are $1.10.

For a full meal, the cheapest route is Basic Instinct at about $10.90, or Schnitzel & Chips at about $13.50 if you want the plate. On delivery menus those same items are listed nearer $14.70 and $18.00.

Does Schnitz have a loyalty or rewards app?

Yes. The Schnitz membership programme is called Crumb Collective, and it runs through the Schnitz app and website. Members get member-only deals — one current example is a free gravy with Family Original Chips. The specific offers rotate, so we do not reproduce a rewards table here that would be stale within weeks.

The dependable saving is not the offers anyway — it is the channel. Ordering pickup direct rather than through Uber Eats avoids the 25–35% menu uplift, which is larger than most member deals.

How do I find the nearest Schnitz to me?

Use the store locator on the official Schnitz website, which lists stores by suburb with address and trading hours. Typing your suburb into Uber Eats or Google Maps works too, and has the advantage of showing whether the store is open right now.

Schnitz is concentrated in Victoria and New South Wales, with stores in Queensland, the ACT, South Australia and Western Australia as well. Coverage is strongest in metropolitan shopping centres.

Does Schnitz change its menu seasonally?

Yes. The core schnitzel, Parma and burger line-up is stable year to year, but Schnitz regularly adds limited-time items and rotates the dessert range — the loaded cookie, skillet and brownie flavours in particular change several times a year. Tom's Signature Tenders is itself a comparatively recent addition to the permanent menu.

Prices move too. We re-check this guide against the official menu and current price listings each month, and stamp the review date at the top of every page so you can see how fresh the figures are.
